Open a dictionary to 2 or 3 random words and string them together. There is your band name. Picnic Ham, and Pocket Rock are already taken though... by me. haha

There's an automatic band-name generator on the web somewhere. my fave is "Unfortubately Naked"

Simple songs are cool. Just do them well. SoB actually started on a premise of simplicity, you'll hear some seriously simple tunes on the next record. Also some that are pretty damn complicated too.

Portuguese is a good language to do stuff with. Quim is my favorite name from there. It's a boys name, and it's pronounced "king"

Look at most punk music. a few chords and a catchy hook, and you are golden. Same applies to metal... just add a solo.

My bassist has a good future for him, so college will take him away. Why would I set up a webcam? I'd fail at some sweep and be mercilessly belittled FOR LIFE!

Bassists are easy to come by. Worst case put a bass on the floor and stomp it with your toes every so often... Unless you Bass played is as good as Justin... then you are screwed.
