| West Side this afternoon.
Killed was Devontae Green, of an unspecified address, according to a spokesman for the Cook County medical examiner's office. He was pronounced dead at 4 p.m. at Stroger Hospital of Cook County.
A police spokesman could not immediately say whether Green was the motorcyclist or an occupant of the other vehicle. Fire officials said only one person was transported from the scene to Stroger Hospital, but they could not say who that person was.
The collision happened about 3:25 p.m. at West Washington Boulevard and North Central Avenue"This makes me so sad. I knew him as freshmen and he was such a fun loving, free-spirited person. In his memory, everyone at school tomorrow is going to wear green (his last name was 'Green'). I'm listening to Fade to Black right now in memorium.  Just wanted to share with all of you. | |
