Family Guy

Am I the only person on the face of the planet who doesn't think this show is funny? All my friends are like "Come 0n mAn, u h4v 2 liek family guy L0l!" I'd much rather watch something with actual humore (i.e: satire, social commentary), than see this joke one more time every time I? leave the TV on: "Peter, you spilled gravy on the floor!" "You think that's bad...remember the time i spilled the gravy last week? (cut to unfunny clip showing that fat dumbass acting like a retard)" ugghh

I haven't watched it in a long time so I'm not uptodate on it, but I do think its funny. Some jokes i dont get, but thats pop culture for you.

Yeah, I watch it all the time. It's dumb and a guilty pleasure, but that's what I like about it personally. Some ppl aren't into it and that's cool, but for me, it's PERFECT for turning my brain all the way off for twenty minutes. I almost lost my temper when they took it off of TBS on demand and stopped updating the episodes weekly.

I didn't like it the first time it came out. But I think the show is a lot better now.

And it IS really funny. Its fucking dumb, but its funny as hell!

I just saw one where Peter goes back in time and screws everything up and in the present Quagmire is married to Lois. So he has to go back and make Lois kiss him at the dance (obvioulsy from back to the future).

Yeah I saw that one, didn't care for it much.

But the one where they go back it time to Warsaw when the Nazis invade. Now that one is FUNNY!

We got a running gag at work about the "Bird is the word" episode... and C.R.E.A.M. by Wu Tang. So I whipped this up in protools for a buddy of mine.

The thing I don't like about Family Guy is most of the gags are way too long. It might start off funny, but then it gets dragged out until it becomes not funny anymore.

Yeah, you're right.

I think the flashbacks get annoying.

You know, the "Its not as bad as that time I...." or "Hey remember when I...".

They're funny, but when you have like 15 of them EVERY episode...it gets annoying.

Oh come on the Peter Griffin magic trick was awesome! "Hey dad I got your nose" "Oh yea well I got your face" CLASSIC!

I dunno, since i just turn the brain all the way off, I never think too deply about family guy. Now South Park has gotten WAY too preachy. I like it sometimes, but if i have to choose, It's gonna be fam guy.

Family guy easily has rank in the book of laughs. I like south park too but I think its a different kind of laugh. All around I think both of these shows are funny as H.E.Double Hockey Sticks.....
